1º Make a presentation to the community, age, place of birth and residence, real name, which you study or work, likes and hobbies
My name is Gabriel, I am 47, I was born and I live in Bucharest Romania. I am a lawyer. I was also a professor at the Law School, I taught Civil Contracts and Heritage for a while. I love to travel and to see new places and new people, to get to know different cultures, i like to go to famous stadiums, i had the chance to see five Champions League final, two UEFA finals and one European. I saw games on Maracana, Allianz, Emirates, Stamford Bridge, I have seem many times Barca-Real both on Camp Nou or Bernabeu, or Lazio Roma on Olimpico, Inter- Milan on San Siro. I like to read and to watch movies, have fun with friends. My biggest dream was/ is to own a football club.
2º What advice would you give us to the newest managers of Goleada?
There is no a single piece of advice for a new manager. First and foremost they should be active, they should collect money from sponsors, they should allocate the points. Help sections is a useful tool. After a while they should start trading players, economy is very important in this game. There are several excellent traders who started recently the game. They should watch as many games as they can, to better understand tactics, individual settings. Last but not least they should ask questions, with the notable exemption of Italian Forum, there are just a few questions asked by the new managers.
3º What would be your greatest success in Goleada? Are you missing something to achieve?
I always said that my biggest achievement was to win Italian cup with my second team Rossoblu. Why? Because it was my first full season in Italy, I was in Serie B, no money, weak players. It was like crazy, Ii remembered the final with Diana Millan , it was like Avellino, Ascoli or Cremonese to win ahead of Juventus, Milan, Roma or Napoli.
I don’t have any National Team title, i put so much pressure on my shoulders, i felt that I have a great responsibility towards a community and it blocks me, I care too much, I don’t want to disappoint my fellow romanians. So, yeah, a title with National Team would be great.
4º against which rival you would not like to lose and which rival would hurt to win
I prefer not to answer, i don’t have this type of feelings.
5º count an anecdote from your real life and another inside Goleada that makes us laugh or cry
Everybody knows Cris , the new Champion in Italy. We never met in person but I know who he is, actually he deserves our respect, he does a lot of great things for my country during pandemic.
Cris is the most passionate player, he is crazy about this game. You cannot imagine. When he has important games he starts writing me om wapp from 7 o’ clock until 1 o’ clock in the night. Hundreds of messages, analyzing players, teams, selecting players, debating. One day, my wife, noticed that I exchanged a lot of messages with someone called Cris . “ Who is Cris , Gabi? A friend, I reply. What friend, my love, do I know him? No, you don’t, actually i also don’t know him. I think you have an affair with someone, Cris is actually Cristina and you cheat on me.”
6º In the logo of your club there is a photo of a soccer team, what can you tell us about the photo?
This is one of my best football memory, I had the chance to play a demonstrative game on a full stadium. My direct opponent was the greatest romanian player, Gheorghe Hagi. It was a game organized by APT- Association for Promoting the Youth( remember my nickname, aptul, is a pun, a wordplay related to APT but also means “ able” in Romanian, is like, yes I can) with many famous romanians , football players, Ionut Lupescu, Sabau, Ganea, Prodan, boxers- Leonard Doroftei, Mihai Leu. I am the one from the lower line in the right.
7º For your taste, what is left of Goleada and what is missing?
Goleada is by far the best online game I played. I used to play hattrick, rockingsoccer, dugout, but I can’t compare Goleada with any of these.
Daily games, live 2 D or 3 D, individual settings makes a huge difference. But the most important in my view is the possibility to act, to move during the games, that makes the game so interactive, having a real opponent who also change players, orders. This is amazing, unique. You can’t find it at any other games.
8º In your opinion, who is the best manager of Goleada?
This is a difficult question there are plenty of great managers. Some of them are excellent tacticians, others are great traders and build monster teams.
In the present, according to what i see, the best managers are Danciualin23 and Cosmoanarca , equally ranked. They adapted the best to the new requirements and challenges of the game.
The best woman manager is Diana Millan . In my opinion she is in tier one , best coaches, in the first 5-7 managers of the game.
9º Of all the games you have played in Goleada, which one do you remember most fondly? And which one do you have a bad memory of?
Well, the first Champions League final with Olympique Lyon, I was the underdog , huge difference on TSP against my team. Maxime had 2 0 and I won 5-2. It was my first big trophy, i entered in the select class of “ big boys”.
Also the two finals with Cosmoanarca , he massively dominated me twice in the group stages but I could read him, his philosophy and won the two finals.
Or the big clash with Maxdino in Medalist or cup Holders final, I won on extratime 3- 2 after he led me twice.
The worst memory is from recent game with Portugal, Romania lost 1-2, after we had 1 0 and @Harrisonsml got a red card. I was too conservative and also very unlucky. I ordered a change, Tatarescu out, Tudorache in, but my player just got a red card and the change couldn’t be fulfilled. I couldn’t sleep all night…
I strongly believe that I could win the tournament. Don’t forget that Romania won with Bulgaria, the European Champion, in the group stage, it was 3 0 at the half time even though we played normal vs effort. Congratulations Leon1912 !
10º If you had to sponsor a new manager, who would you stay with?
My question: Can you tell us something about you that few people know?
I play profesional football for Steaua kids at the same coaches that discovered Ilie Dumitrescu.
Also at the age of 32 I was Minister of Privatization in my country.
… And so far the interview with Aptul (Gabriel), thanks to him we are all a little calmer if we make any bureaucratic mistake in this life … “He is a fellow lawyer”, by the way Gabriel, one day we will meet so that you show the Mestalla stadium (Valencia.Cf) …
Cris, you have a friend for life, “it’s a lucky friend of mine”, who has a friend has a treasure, even if it almost costs Cris-tina’s marriage …
I see you all looking at the photo to see what Aptul (Gabriel) is like! …
Professional soccer player, minister of privatization … Puff, go crack, it has been a real pleasure to meet you a little more inside, thanks Gabriel.
